I’ve had the best luck finding representation through sites like Actors Connection as you mentioned. It’s very inexpensive, usually around $30, and you get to meet with the agent or manager one-on-one. I usually wait a few days afterwards to follow-up if I haven’t heard anything. There are also a few new sites that are offering the same kind of agency meet-ups. I really like talentmeetrep.com and also The Actors Green Room although slightly more expensive is a valuable resource.
