For commercial modeling, there is a wide range, but fashion models usually start in their late teens or early 20s. If an agency is going to invest in you, they want a long-term return on their investment. I was actually 22 when I started my full-time modeling career, and I felt soooooo OLD! Runway models are usually at least 5’10″. In smaller markets, some women may make the cut at 5’8″.

I am….far from a teen when I got started. How can I get someone like Page Parkes to look at my portfolio and give me some advice? I’m quite driven, literally, as I’ve driven myself to NYC 3x and Chicago 3x and Atlanta more times than I can remember trying to ‘make it’. I’ve walked runway 50+ times including NYC, and my network is HUGE and am liked by most designers, models, photogs, and MUAs alike. I’m also into acting. How can I reach the next level?
