Happy Mom’s Day
I don’t have anything to say today that’s better than what my kids wrote for me:
The most important thing about you, mom, is that you are generous. You take me to auditions all the time, out of the blue, and you don’t care if I don’t do well or if I do. You just care if I try. The most important thing about you, mom, is that you are generous.
The most important thing about you, mom, is that you are soft as a dove, because when I stepped on that nail and  Daddy was making me feel sad, you understood. The most important thing about you, mom, is you are soft as a dove.  —J
(I especially like how I come out looking better than Ben.)
“The Best Mom”
(I especially like how my hair is blonde and not gray.)
One of the three reasons I’m the best mom: “My mom always cuddles me.” The next reason was that I always play tag with her, which I never do. Is it bad if your kid can only come up with two reasons you’re the best mom and has to fabricate a third? (BTW, the first reason was that I let her go to the store with me. Oh dear.)
You always clean the fingerprints
I leave upon the walls.
I seem to make a mess of things
Because I am so small.
But everyday I’m growing
I’ll be grown up someday.
And all the messes that I made
Will surely fade away.
So here’s a set of fingerprints
And a picture of me too.
So you’ll recall the way I looked
When I made this just for you.

Happy Mother’s Day!
I see where I get ‘oh dear’ from or where you got it from. Loved it! Bob says ‘kids can just be so
precious’! I’ll second that. thx Mom
Sweet! Actually reflects their different personalities. Thanks for sharing.
Awww I love it! Great stuff
Jill,
I love what each of them wrote! (They have mom’s writing genes.) And each of their reasons!
Thanks for sharing.
